Account Executive
GigaSavvy is seeking candidates to fill full-time Account Executive positions. The Account Executive will be responsible for the development and execution of sales plans that drive and maximize direct business sales for GigaSavvy for their area of responsibility. He/she will actively provide support to GigaSavvy’s new and existing clientele to ensure that sales are always maximized. Account Executives are required to have sales experience and strong knowledge of traditional marketing with an overall understanding of marketing factors impacting the client’s business financials. This position reports to the VP of Business Development, and will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including project management, production, marketing/advertising, and social media/ publicity.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Actively seek and identify new business opportunities and potential key clients for GigaSavvy
- Develop, promote and maintain positive and effective relationships with clients to ensure that sales and returns are maximized.
- Develop and lead meaningful marketing opportunities to clients through regular meetings, presentations, training sessions, webinars, e-mails, etc.
- Negotiate agreements and contracts for GigaSavvy with new clients that will ensure the best possible financial and operational terms for the company
- Provide clients with regular and informative updates on productivity and progress, and provide assistance, if and when needed, to ensure that goals are reached
- For key clients, develop custom marketing solutions to meet unique/specific needs
- Ensure that all communications and points of contact with new and existing clients are always conducted at the highest level of professionalism and brand representation
- Implement, in collaboration with the VP of Business Development, the GigaSavvy sales & marketing plan that will generate direct business for the Company
- Develop and foster relationships with new accounts to drive annual sales goals consistent with sales and marketing plan
- Identify opportunities to maximize campaign efficiency and increase client’s Return on Investment.
- Partner with internal management stakeholders to ensure client projects are efficiently managed while ensuring sales of existing GigaSavvy products are maximized
- Maintain accurate and detailed records, using CRM, of all activities undertaken as part of the job
- Provide the VP of Business Development with regular updates regarding market conditions, competitors’ activities, sales and marketing strategies and results through regular meetings and reports

- Learning/Problem Solving - Able to identify problems quickly and develop and enact sensible solutions within operational restraints
- Interpersonal Savvy – Able to use good listening skills, be sensitive to clients, adjust quickly to different personal styles, and stay open to other viewpoints
- Integrity/Trust - Able to deal with others in a straightforward and honest manner, be accountable for actions, maintain confidentiality, and uphold strong business ethics and company values
- Composure/Adaptability – Able to support change, encourage innovation and new ideas, handle pressure, adjust to meet changing needs, and handle conflict effectively
- Computer/Technical: Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, Internet and webinar applications. Ability to make good use of web tools and in-house technical resources, adapt to new technology and learn new programs quickly
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-4 years combined sales & marketing experience. Prior website development, marketing & advertising, or online marketing agency sales experience highly desirable
- Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited school preferred
- Proficient in the MS Office suite of products and the Internet. Knowledge of Highrise (37 Signals) CRM preferred
- Must show high initiative, have the ability to present new ideas/solutions to management and client
- Excellent writing and verbal skills
- Strong work ethic and drive
- Must have the ability to effectively multi-task
- Strong networking, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent understanding of online marketing and traditional marketing
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required, regional travel may be required
The position starts as commission only. However, once the Account Executive is creating new business at a steady pace, a base will be established and full benefits will be available. The position has tremendous growth potential. Training and mentoring will be provided. Account Executives will have an opportunity to develop a thriving business – GigaSavvy will look to promote from within as these business units grow.
