Gigasavvy Taps Industry Veterans Mitchell Fait and Rod Foster to Lead New Company Departments

2014.08.12-gigasavvy-news-thumb-300x300The Gigasavvy team announced today that it recently expanded its service offerings with the addition of film and photography departments to better serve its diverse client base. Taking the reins as partner and director of the film/video division is Mitchell Fait, while Rod Foster also becomes a partner and will lead all photo services. Both new departments will be in-house services for Gigasavvy, which is a unique twist to traditional agency offerings.

“Adding both photography and film is an integral part of expanding our agency,” said Corey Mangold, principal and co-founder of Gigasavvy. “With our strategic push into heavy content marketing, it is imperative that we produce original and compelling photography and film that perfectly aligns with our clients’ needs. Both services allow us to execute a higher level of design and give us the ability to avoid any use of stock imagery.”

The innovative force behind Gigasavvy’s film and video department is Fait. He offers agency clients the benefit of in-house creativity and experience in the production of film and video assets that bring a product or service to life. Relying on more than 10 years of experience, Fait comes to Gigasavvy from Trick Pony Productions and Chapman University Film School. He is responsible for determining a client’s visual needs as they relate to business goals. Fait and his team handle all aspects of a project, from concept development to pre-production, casting, location choice, shooting, post-production and editing. Fait’s department specialties range from video for web and social outlets to broadcast commercials.

Imaginative, powerful and compelling still visual assets are now driven by Foster at Gigasavvy. Formerly the principal at his own company Rod Foster Photography, he has a passion for creating photos that translate into captivating images for clients. Foster specializes in on-location lifestyle shots, food, fitness and spaces as well as product photos. Foster’s creative eye produces realistic imagery that encourages the viewer to participate or take action.
