Holiday-Fueled Teamwork

As the typical ad agency holiday card wars played out, an idea arose to do something much more than just a card, video, or microsite. Why not have fun creating an experience that invites our clients, partners, and friends to partake in the Gigasavvy world filled with holiday joy? ‘Tis the season!

We formed a grand vision of a winter wonderland that could be shared with anyone. Thus was born a passion project that brought together strategic planning, technology, media, and creative direction–taking up nights and weekends (not to mention it’s Q4).

Technology Behind the Magic

Lights, lights, more lights, and a 10’ inflatable teddy bear. Every decoration and each command was hand selected with care, all playing a critical role in a much larger orchestration of wintery glory.

The technology behind the interactive spectacle runs deep–from setting the live stream to rotate cameras, to building the logic that controls the decorations based on Facebook comments, to writing code that ensures the whole production keeps running.

Turning Dreams Into Reality

Looking back on previous years, sure, we had fun making a hilarious video and creating a Gigasavvy family holiday card. But there's just nothing quite like watching people enjoy something you've created. Below is a taste of how we made this happen.
